We've been running SAP Business One since before most people knew what it was.
Richard Duffy helped launch SAP Business One in Australia. He then helped launch its cloud version globally. After more than a decade at SAP, he trained the partners and consultants who sell and support the product across Australia today. When he left, he built the infrastructure to host it properly.
That was 2009. SMB Solutions has been running ever since.
Three of Richard's children now work in the business with him. It's a family operation in the truest sense, which means the people answering your support call are the same people who built the system you're calling about.
A Family Business
Richard has spent more than 30 years in the SAP ecosystem. He helped launch SAP Business One in Australia and led the development of its cloud version globally during his tenure at SAP. Since founding SMB Solutions in 2009, he has built one of the most credentialed SAP Business One hosting operations in the region, training partners and consultants across Australia, Europe, South-East Asia and Africa along the way.
Kerry makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes—keeping SMB Solutions' services secure, reliable, and backed by ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certification, so clients can focus on running their business, not worrying about their systems. She provides the internal scaffolding that supports Richard and the technical team as they work directly with SMB Solutions customers.

Callum is an experienced Cloud Administrator with over 9 years' expertise in SAP Business One support, specializing in security and IT services within cloud environments. He's skilled in managing infrastructure and optimizing workflows to boost efficiency and reliability, and is committed to delivering secure, tailored solutions for each client—backed by a strong reputation for responsive, high-quality client care.
Taylor keeps clients at the centre of everything she does—managing accounts, financial administration and marketing, and making sure communication with clients is clear, timely and helpful every step of the way. She develops and manages much of the communication materials customers receive, from web content and newsletters to blogs and service-critical emails, and also creates training content that enables clients and the broader SAP Business One community to get the most out of their systems.
Liam is a dedicated Cloud Services Manager with over 7 years' experience delivering hands-on technical support for SAP Business One in cloud-hosted environments. He's skilled at solving complex, client-specific challenges quickly and clearly, with a consistent track record of 5-star support that keeps customers' cloud systems running smoothly
Gabriela is a senior SAP Business One professional with over 20 years of experience helping businesses get more out of their SAP systems, including 12+ years with SAP HANA and 10+ years implementing and managing SAP Business One Cloud Control Center. At SMB Solutions, she brings that deep expertise to our core focus—secure, reliable SAP Business One cloud hosting—helping clients optimize their processes, modernize their systems, and solve complex business challenges with confidence. Gabriela is in Chile and deals with our customers who are in a different timezone.
